Blue Wing Family Doctor Unit

92 Bath Rd, Hounslow TW3 3EL, UK – 020 8630 1300

I would like to say as a new patient having tried three doctors surgeries in Hounslow with very bad service that this practice has a great level of service of care and attention, especially by the Drs I have seen & phlebotomist Laura she has a sense of humour, she is gentle her manner is polite & respectful and put me at ease professionally during my blood test. Dr Najir was thorough and answered all my questions and gave advice on what to do next-also polite respectful and Dr Khan is polite helpful respectful and does all she can both are highly professional Doctors in my opinion I highly recommended the practice. Always polite, always have time, it's a busy surgery so the phone lines are very busy and you are on hold for on average 9 -16minutes but that's to be expected. Thank you Blue Wing.

The Acorn Group Practice

29-35 Holly Rd, Twickenham TW1 4EA, UK – 020 8891 0073

We have been with them for years. Wonderful doctors but yes they are very busy so its sometimes hard to get an appointment. Sometimes they run late often because patients are often late - they also have what are called emergencies people - and so sometime others have to be prioritised. Mostly reception is great but everyone has an off day especially in a stressful job. Disagree with the negative posts on here.

All doctors at this surgery are fantastic, and I wouldn't wish to go anywhere else. I have often experienced minor delays in being seen on time at this practice, but that just means they are giving patients the time they need. My partners previous surgery always ran on time but the doctors stuck rigidly to the allocated time, so if the patient ran out of time or wanted to discuss more than one issue they'd have to book another appointment!

Dr Adrian Brown - Richmond Lock Surgery

300 St. Margarets Rd, Isleworth, Twickenham TW1 1PS, UK – 020 8892 2543

I find my experiences at Richmond Lock Surgery incredibly varied. I've met with absolutely excellent doctors who listen, ask the right questions, offer multiple options for treatment and encourage follow-up if the situation applies. On the other hand, I've had absolutely dreadful and totally unhelpful doctors as well - complete misdiagnoses over several visits, cold and short, offering no helpful suggestions or information. On my most recent visit with my young daughter with chicken pox, the doctor seemed displeased by our mere presence. She offered zero recommendations for products that could help her symptoms, had to check her computer for the recommended "quarantine" time (then contradicted herself), and told me that another issue my daughter was having was unrelated to the pox - turns out it was completely related, won't give you the details but it was a very simple connection. It's so unfortunate that some doctors are so good here and that some are so appallingly bad. I will say that in my experience, the reception staff has always been efficient and helpful. I wish the level of care was consistently good from the doctors, but unfortunately it's not.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.
