The day we went, they had a big takeaway order to prepare for and so most of the items on the menu weren't available. The waiter said it was a one off situation. But the food was tasty.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. There were four of us and we each had a starter and main. All were beautifully cooked and just a little bit different from the norm. (As well as a little spicier than some - but in a good way!) The service was brilliant, attentive but not intrusive and we also considered it good value, coming in at about £25 a head for starters, mains, sides, breads, poppadoms and chutneys along with beer/soft drinks. Look forward to visiting again, we are really chuffed to find a little gem like this on our doorstep.

takaa tak, Hounslow

Enjoyed the variety of food. Good size portions at a reasonable price. Good choice of drinks, fully licenced bar. Would go back to try more dishes

We love curry etc, and this was near our hotel. A great find. The lamb rogan was delicious, very lip smacking. Good service and reasonably priced. We will be back on next visit.

With regard to the food I can not give enough praise. I've tried a different burger on every visit and I have always enjoyed my meal. Customer service has always been slow and lacking in friendliness, particularly on my most recent visit. I went on a Friday evening joining my 2 brothers who had been waiting for me for approx 20 minutes. Upon my arrival we were told they were too busy to take our orders and we had to wait 10 minutes. We waited for almost half an hour, tried to get the attention of staff but without result. There was a large party of students next to us blocking our way from our table to the front of house so I decided to call the restaurant on the phone and respectfully asked if we could get some service (just in case they had forgotten about us as we were sat in the corner). Moments later one of the managers came over, told us they still couldn't take our order and that he felt it was rude I had phoned them in order to get their attention! He actually suggested I should have got up and found a member of staff. Even after I explained how I physically could not get up due to the rush of uni students, he continued to tell us how rude I was for phoning them and refused to apologise. I have to say this had me worked up as he refused to understand my perspective as a customer, especially knowing that he was a manager, and the conversation did not end well. Once we got past that episode and after a patient wait to order and get our food, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I wish I could give 5 stars however the customer service and attitude really needs to improve therefore a solid 3 out of 5 for now.

Good range of meat alternatives for vegetarians. Very tasty and lots of flavour. Service is quite slow. The cooks seemed very young. A major ingredient was missed from my order and I wasn't informed until I had to ask. Portions are average sized. Very basic furniture and architecture. Definitely a lack of Cuban influence in the food. The owner was very pleasant
